Financial Controller - eSmart Networks

eSmart networks is a fast-growing company and has ambitious growth plans in a fast paced, evolving and expanding market. Providing a full turn key solution for the design, installation and commissioning of electrical vehicle infrastructure, our company is evolving rapidly. We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join the team. With responsibility for the production of accurate and timely management accounts, and management information this is an opportunity to build a long term career within a fast paced and dynamic organisation.

Role
·Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheets and cash flows.
·Monthly costing on contracts.
·Issuing Project Review Report.
·Preparation of Monthly reporting packs.
·Management of debt reporting and contract income.
·Bank reconciliations.
·Providing financial reporting information to the management team as required.
·Board reporting, KPIs and Order books.
·Asset reconciliation and depreciation (balance sheets).
·Liaison with auditors, internal clients and government regulatory bodies.
·Assisting the Business Development Director with Sales modelling and forecasting.

Candidate
·Strong, proven background within Management accounts.
·Experience within the Utilities/Construction/Civil Engineering environment would be desirable
·ACCA/CIMA qualified or appropriate degree.
·All round knowledge of an accounting function.
·Strong understanding of Management Accounts and back reconciliations.
·Knowledge and understanding of effective customer care processes and the effects on financial cost.
·Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise at various levels.
·Works well under pressure and is able to work to strict deadlines.
·Advanced MS Excel skills and good general IT skills.
·Strong Analytical skills with a good eye for detail.
·Problem solving and decision making skills.
·Adopts a confident and assertive approach.
·Clean Driving license and access to a serviceable, appropriately insured vehicle.
