Electrical Authorised Person - Midlands
TriConnex have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical AP to join the team within the electrical vehicle charging division. This is an instrumental position providing electrical authorisation for connections on to DNO networks, overseeing and supervising installation and jointing work for new Electric Vehicle charging connections in the Midlands.
The position;
·Ensuring all jointing teams hold the correct equipment and tools to carry out duties.
·Maintain Company Vans to a high specification ensuring clean, tidy and stocked in line with our company brand.
·Adhering to DNO specification at all times.

  • Cable identification and authorisation of connection.

·Build and Develop compelling relationships with all clients, external and internal.
·Organise work schedules and maintain time sheets.
·Maintain communication channel between teams, clients and site agents.
·Delivery of tasks on time and within budget.
·Ensure all connection dates are adhered to and not missed.
·Assist in HV/LV jointing roles when required.
·Link, Switch and fuse.
·Utilising a range of office software including Email and Microsoft Suite.
·Working closely with the HSEQ department adhering to compliance regulations.

Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes
·Strong proven background within Electrical Engineering.
·Previous experience within a supervisory role.
·WPD DNO authorisation certification.
·NRSWA, SMSTS and CSCS cards
·Ability to work as part of a highly focused team to meet deadlines and to work with others to achieve shared goals.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain compelling relationships.
·Organisational skills with the ability to work on own initiative and a self motivated approach.
·Excellent Attention to detail
·Proactive and flexible approach.
·HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
·Ability to investigate, resolve or escalate client issues/requirements.
·Full UK Drivers License.
